Laurie Ferguson gets the beat at the Indian Australian Arts and Film Association's children's workshop, accompanied by chair of the NSW Community Relations Commission, Dr Stepan Kerkyasharian, and CEO of Kids West, Trevor Oldfield.
Laurie Ferguson attended the Indian Australian Arts and Film Association's children's workshop on September 5.
The workshop was designed to teach children from the Indian Australian community about the art, music, dance and traditions of other cultural communities.
The Parliamentary Secretary commended the organisation for its work in promoting harmony and cross-cultural understanding, as well as for its support to migrant parents by providing activities for children during the school holidays.
