The Parliamentary Secretary, Laurie Ferguson, launched a DVD for newly arrived Asian refugee and humanitarian entrants at the Werribee Community and Education Centre in Melbourne on July 24.

Australia – a new home, introduces refugees to life in Australia, offering 75 minutes of information and advice on topics such as health, housing, safety, education and budgeting. The DVD provides information in English and five Asian languages and is tailored specifically to meet the needs of Asian refugees settling in Australia.
