Laurie Ferguson addresses the 2009 Korean Australian Youth Symposium.
Laurie Ferguson attended the Korean Australian Youth Symposium in Sydney on April 4 where he delivered the keynote speech on the topic What it means to be Australian to more than 250 guests.
The 2006 Census recorded 52 760 Korean-born people living in Australia and Mr Ferguson noted that this diverse cultural heritage is an important part of Australian life. He also congratulated the organisers of the symposium for providing a forum to develop leadership potential among young Australians with Korean heritage.
