On April 24, Laurie Ferguson attended the South Australian Settlement Grants Program (SGP) providers workshop and acknowledged the focus and dedication of the settlement sector.
He also noted the valuable contribution being made by individuals and organisations to Australia’s international reputation for best practice in resettlement programs.
The conference, organised by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, presented an opportunity for organisations working on the ground to come to together to share ideas and experiences.
