The Parliamentary Secretary was honoured to join the Australian Chinese community in welcoming in the Year of the Ox.

The Ox is a sign of prosperity gained by fortitude and hard work.

Addressing the benefit, Mr Ferguson reflected on the extensive contributions the Chinese community has made to Australia.

During the festivities, Mr Ferguson attended celebrations hosted by the Australian Council of Chinese Organisations, the Australian Chinese Community Association of NSW and the Australian Chinese Charity Foundation. He also welcomed the launch of Australia’s longest dragon, which wound through the streets of Sydney's Chinatown.
