Minister for Immigration and Citizenship Senator Chris Evans visited the department's Belconnen national office in the ACT on May 4 to meet staff associated with the department's range of programs. In a short speech to the assembled group, he complemented them on their responsiveness and commitment to the variety of demands they face on a daily basis, and encouraged them to contribute ideas and new approaches to the ongoing challenges they face.
